MaryAnn (Blatz) Steinman

MaryAnn Steinman, age 83, of Milford, beloved wife of Raymond E. Steinman Jr. for 61 years, died on Monday, April 19, 2021.  MaryAnn was born in New York, NY on June 8, 1937 to the late Alphons and Marie (Cieslinski) Blatz.  She was a secretary at Waterbury Lock and later the lunch lady at Pumpkin Delight Elementary School for 30 years. 

Maryann enjoyed traveling with her husband, Ray,  anywhere their Chevy van would take them.  She especially enjoyed Niagara Falls and Disney World. She deeply loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Survivors include her children: Elizabeth and Craig Carr of Milford, Kathleen Mahieu of Simsbury, John and Linda Steinman of North Haven, Susan and Thomas Coleman of Milford and Christine and David Heenan of Milford, grandchildren; Daniel, Jillian and Christopher Carr, Robert and Andrea Mahieu, Jessica Bifield and Jack Steinman, Valerie, Tiffany,  James and Nicholas Coleman and Tyler and Lauren Heenan and great-granddaughter, Daisy Bifield.   MaryAnn is predeceased by her brother Alfons J. Blatz and granddaughter, Melanie Amber Coleman.
