Patricia Roland

Patricia L. Roland, age 66, of Milford, died on Thursday, July 9, 2020.  She was born in Bridgeport on September 22, 1953 to the late William H. Roland Jr. and Sarah Jobes Roland.  She worked for over 30 years as a paraprofessional for the City of Bridgeport.  Pat loved children and helped with the before school program at Mathewson Elementary School in Milford, the afterschool program at Worthington Hooker School in New Haven and as a lunch lady at Orchard Hills Elementary School in Milford.  She was an avid NY Giants fan and loved living near the water.  She will be dearly missed by her many friends and family.  Survivors include her sisters; Marie Roland of Milford and Laura Zawislinski and her husband Tom of Milford, former husband, Robert N. Moss of Milford, step-children; Robert Moss and his wife Liz, Joseph Moss and Brian Moss; her “foster” sister, Suzanne Mora of Milford and many cousins and friends.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Swim Across the Sound.  Due to the current health pandemic, services will be held in private.  To share a memory please go to www.gregoryfdoylefuneralhome.com.
