Paul Michael Vienneau, age 44, beloved fiancé of Jill Povinelli, passed away suddenly and gained his wings on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Born in Milford, CT on September 4, 1979, he is the son of Lisa (Saja) Kennedy of Longs, SC, and of his beloved and devoted father Larry Vienneau of Milford. Paul, known for his big heart, was taken from this life much too soon. Paul will be missed by his father’s loving companion, Cathy Savoie and his mother’s husband Fran Kennedy, Jill’s mother Lisa Botelho-Tisdale and husband David Tisdale of Ansonia and her father Raymond Povinelli of Milford.
Paul was an avid NY Yankees fan and growing up he loved participating in all kinds of sports. Beginning at an early age, Paul played baseball with the Milford Little League, then Milford Senior League, and also played basketball with the Devon Knights. He continued his passion of baseball later on by coaching his daughter Alexis’ softball team. Over the years, Paul joined various bowling teams at AMF Lanes of Milford. There he bowled a perfect 300 game!
Paul leaves behind the love of his life, Jill Povinelli, spending the past 25 years together. Paul and Jill had three beautiful children, daughters Alexis and Ava and son Andrew by whom he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his two sisters, Jackie Vienneau and Cheryl Vienneau, and his brother Billy Kohler, as well as Jill’s brothers Jason and Chris Povinelli. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Paul is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Gladys and Walter Saja formerly of Milford, and his paternal grandparents Helen Blanchette and Eugene Vienneau formerly of Millinocket, ME.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home in Milford. An announcement will be made with the details in the near future.
