Robert Michael Moultis

Robert Michael Moultis, age 78, beloved husband of 52 years to Janet (McCurry) Moultis of Milford, entered peaceful rest on Sunday, April 10, 2022.
He was born on February 2, 1944, in Springfield, MA and was the son of the late Robert and Mary (Sullivan) Moultis. He was a telephone installer at the former Southern New England Telephone Company for 34 years before his retirement. His passions included boating on Long Island Sound, golfing and following sports, especially his favorite teams, the NY Mets and NY Giants.  
He enjoyed making new friends, always ready to greet and engage with others while having a story or two for everyone he met.  It was hard to find someone who wasn’t a friend or who hadn’t heard of him; “Mike Moultis” was a neighborhood fixture. In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves a niece, Denise Moyher and nephew, Mark Onofreo both of Milford, his extended family in England and his pet cats Mr. G and Kayla.  He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Onofreo of Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Gabriel Church (St. Raphael Parish). Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Milford. Family and friends may call prior to the mass from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD.
