Robert Lockwood Raynor, age 92, of Milford, beloved husband of Elizabeth Armour Raynor for 65 years, died at home on Friday, September 24, 2021. Robert was born in Southhampton, NY on May 10, 1929, to the late Ansel and Florence Gordon Raynor. He was a proud US Army veteran and served during the Korean War. Robert was a life member and past commander of VFW Post 7788 in Devon, CT and was an employee at Bridgeport Hospital for over 39 years. He was a volunteer resident advocate for the Omsbudaman Program for the State of CT and a member of St Agnes Church where he served as a Eucharistic minister and was also a member of their Men’s Club. Survivors include his children; Debra Ann Cyros (Steve) of AZ and Katherine Ann Williams (Robby) of CA, and Robert G. Raynor of Shelton, six grandchildren, Kristopher and Shaline Stoyak, Kendra Nichols and Jacqueline Boone, and Marc and Steven Raynor, seven great-grandchildren; Bailee and Tye Nichols, Able, Ethan and Sean Boone and Lincoln and Harper Raynor, and two siblings; Shirley McMahon and Richard Raynor. Robert is predeceased by eight siblings.
Family and Friends may greet the family in Saint Agnes Church (Precious Blood Parish) 400 Merwin Avenue, Milford on Friday, October 1st from 10:00 a.m-10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in the church followed by interment in Saint Mary Cemetery, Milford.
