Obituary

Rowland Gill, age 55, of Milford, passed away on Thursday, May 5th, 2022.  Rowland was born in Milford on August 3, 1966, to the late William and Katherine Steele Gill.  Rowland loved rock music and especially Van Halen Band. Rowland liked to dance and have fun. He was always willing to help people. Rowland liked to play his daily numbers and was the one to crack jokes and put a smile on your face. You always got a good laugh hanging out with Rowland. Rowland did landscaping, roofing and worked on cars. Most importantly Rowland loved visiting family.

Survivors include his children: Emily Gill of West Haven, Steven Gill and his wife Jamie of Milford and Leanne Gill of Manchester, beloved grandson, Tyler Dupree, siblings: Robert Gill and his wife Lisa of Ansonia, Daniel Gill of Derby, Debbie Gill and her husband Donald and Jason Gill of Milford and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, May 13th 2022 at 11:00 a.m., in Kings Highway Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family (Emily Gill) to help with funeral expenses.
