Susan L. (Banet) Lombardo

Susan L. Lombardo, age 74, lifelong resident of Milford, left this world on August 4, 2022 surrounded by her family.

She was born on April 16, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late George and Kathryn (McDermott) Banet. Susan was an administrative assistant for IBM, Family Services, and Bayer where she met some of her closest friends before her retirement. 

She is survived by her beloved best friend and companion, the loving, charming and handsome, Thomas Girdzis and her two loving daughters, Lindsey Guilmette and her husband Dan of Meriden and Jenna Lombardo of Plantsville, her two precious grandchildren, Luca Paton and Riley Kathryn and her best friend and sister, Michelle Palamone and her husband, Richie of Massapequa, NY. She also leaves her dear nieces, nephews, and friends, whom she loved and treasured through the years.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Interment to follow at King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford. Memorial Contributions may be made in Susan’s memory to Metastatic Breast Cancer Research.
