Susan Ann (Hansen) Diamantis

Susan Ann Diamantis, age 52, beloved wife of 26 years to George Diamantis, of Milford entered into peaceful rest on June 12, 2023.

She was born on January 7, 1971 in Milford and was the daughter of the late Carl Hansen and Karen A. (Richter) Hansen Povinelli. Susan worked in logistics operations at Unilever in Trumbull for over 25 years.  She was a very supportive football mom. Susan was an active member of the First United Church and served on the Faith Formation Committee and was a Sunday School teacher. Her family was everything to her, in her spare time Susan loved to read.

In addition to her devoted husband, Susan leaves her two devoted sons, William Henry Diamantis and Charles Alexander Diamantis both of Milford, her loving sister, Kari Smith and her husband, Jerry, and her two nephews, Scott and Bryan Pala all of Mississippi, she also leaves her stepfather, Hank Povinelli of Florida and her grandmother, Sara Richter of Lamar, MS and many dear friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Church of Christ Congregational, 34 West Main Street, Milford. Interment to follow at King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford. Family and friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service (DIRECTLY) at the church.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan's memory to the First United Church, Faith Formation Committee, 34 West Main Street, Milford, CT 06460.
