Thomas Philip Doyle, age 88, beloved husband of 61 years to Helen (Novak) Doyle of Orange, entered eternal rest on December 12, 2019 surrounded by his family.
He was the son of the late Thomas A. and Jean (Farley) Doyle and was born on May 25, 1931 in Bridgeport. Mr. Doyle graduated from Fairfield Prep in 1949 and received his bachelors degree from Fairfield University in 1953. He was attending St. John’s Law School in Brooklyn, NY before he was drafted and proudly served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Doyle was a general sales manager at Dresser Industries for over 40 years before his retirement.
In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves three children, Kevin Doyle and his wife Fran of Tewksbury, MA, Shawn Doyle and his wife Susan of Rock Hill, SC and Kelly Doyle of Shelton, three loving grandchildren, Kyle and Ryan Bulkley and Sean Baron and several nieces and nephews. His sister, Kathleen Rita Bergeron predeceased him.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Orange Center Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to greet the family from 10:30-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405 or to a charity of one’s choice.
