Thomas A. Valentine

Thomas A. Valentine, age 81, beloved husband of 60 years to Sandra (Van Wart) Valentine of Milford, entered peaceful rest on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Son of the late Thomas and Rose (Bredice) Valentine and was born on February 7, 1942, in Bridgeport. Tom loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed his boat and fishing but most of all loved being on the water. He also had a knack for gardening.
In addition to his devoted wife he leaves his loving daughters, Terry Rioux and her husband, John and Tracy Barra and her husband, Nicholas, four grandchildren, Nicholas Barra, Kaitlyn Visconti and her husband, Anthony, Alicia and Tyler Wittkofske and his great granddaughter, Lainey Partin. Tom also leaves his siblings, Michael Valentine and Rosaline Lane and her husband, Reginald, his brother-in-law, Norman Ellsworth. His grandson, aka his fishing Buddy, Mark Wittkofske, his daughter, Tina Wittkofske, his sister, Gloria Ellsworth, and his sister-in-law, Lorraine Valentine predeceased him.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 p.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Interment will be private.
