Timothy J. Casey, age 75, of Madison, beloved husband of the late Barbara “Bonnie” (Nagle) Casey entered peaceful rest on March 9, 2024. He was born on December 27, 1948 in Milford and was the son of the late William Casey, Sr. and Bernice (Noonan) Casey. Timothy was a civil engineer for over 40 years at STV Incorporated where he specialized in railroad systems for many years. Timothy loved the outdoors, especially the beach, and had spent the past few years hiking, biking and kayaking with the New Haven Hiking Club. Spending time with family was what he cherished the most. He welcomed the sandy feet of family and friends at his home on the Connecticut shoreline, and the cottage he built and loved in Bridgton, Maine, set the scene for annual family weekends. Whether he was expertly steering his kayak over ocean waves or under the stars at the lake, he was the maker of memories the family will hold dear always. Timothy is survived by his devoted daughter, Mary-Kate Junno and her husband, Samuel of Milford and two sons, Joshua Casey of Madison and Conan Casey of Milford and two loving grandchildren, William and Zinnia Junno. He is also survived by his brother William Casey, Jr. and his wife Joyce of FL, his two sisters, Denise Horbal of Beacon Falls and Maureen Casey and her husband, Vlad Chahovsky of CA and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Rick Casey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 16th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish), 70 Gulf Street, Milford. Committal will be private. Family and friends may call on Friday, March 15th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD.
