William Rzepko Obituary

William Basil Rzepko, age 79, of Milford, beloved husband of 56 years to Marlyss R. (Peterson) Rzepko, passed away on January 26, 2019 at Milford Hospital.

He was born on May 15, 1939 in Bridgeport and was the son of Basil and Josephine Rzepko. Mr. Rzepko attended Saint Charles School in Bridgeport, Fairfield Preparatory School and the University of New Haven. He lived in the Devon Milford area for most of his adult life. William (aka Bill or “Baca”) was a US Navy veteran, serving 4 ½ years as a Radarman, Petty Officer. He was previously a self employed computer systems analyst/consultant, consulting for many CT, NY and NJ companies and employed by Peoples United Bank, Yale-New Haven Hospital, and the Hospital of Saint Raphael. He was a lifetime member of the Pequonnock Yacht Club, serving as treasurer for many years. Besides boating, he had many hobbies, but was especially happy helping to raise and entertain his much-loved granddaughter.

In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves his daughter, Lora R. Rzepko, his son, William B. Rzepko, II, and his granddaughter, Samantha C. Rzepko. Mr. Rzepko also leaves his sister in law, Virginia Rzepko and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Ronald Rzepko.

Services and interment for “Baca” will be private, per his request. Arrangements have been entrusted with the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD.
