Willie Green, Jr.

Mr. Willie Green, Jr., age 81, beloved husband of 60 years to Ruthie Mae (Smith) Green of Milford entered peaceful rest on June 30, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 8, 1941 in East Over, SC and was the son of the late Willie Green, Sr. and Emma (Reed) Green. Mr. Green worked for over 51 years as a postal clerk for the US Postal Service in Stamford. He enjoyed gardening and kept his yard immaculate. He was an avid NE Patriots fan.

In addition to his wife, he leaves three devoted children, Phillip Green, Jeffrey Green and his wife Anne and Jennifer Green all of Milford, three loving grandchildren, Lawelden Warren, Jr., Kevin Green, and Julia Green. He also leaves Henry Green and his wife, Toni of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Louise Green-Smith and Ulysses Green both of Stamford. His brother, Haywood Green and a sister, Georgia Mae Thompson predeceased him.

Services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted with the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD.
