I recall fondly that back in the days when Don was a law partner with my Dad, he would visit our home after one of far flung travels of the world, with souvenirs for me and my siblings. I prized the real looking koala, and still display a beaded necklace, that he explained was intentionally made perfect, except for one bead. At a time, when most adults my folks associated with were referred to as Mr. or Mrs. to their children, Don and Ellie was how as a couple, they were affectionately spoken of. Don and my father, were both committed to their high ideals, serving clients, church and community with unwavering integrity. I am certain that Don was a blessing to more people and in more ways, than we'll ever know.
