Dear Kate and Clara, Jennifer and Sarah,
Greg often said that it was a source of great happiness to him that both his daughters were such good people. He certainly loved you very much and was proud of you. And when Earl became a grandparent, Greg was pleased that he and Earl shared the joy of each being grandfather to two granddaughters.
We'll be thinking of Greg in loving memory -- and especially at the time he and Earl set aside every day to visit on the phone.

Dr. Rabassa was my pre-med advisor at Columbia College around 1962. He was really a surrogate father to me, though I knew nothing about his professional life at the college. In September of the year, I shared with him the fact that my funds had run out and I was hungry.
Shortly thereafter, I received a notification that I was the recipient of a $300 scholarship from some unidentified donor. I had no idea of what I could have done to merit this.
Now, looking back, I think I had received a "Rabassa Scholarship." I will be forever grateful - and cherish his memory. Ralph Speken, M.D.
