Our lives are a little less bright without our freind and loved one. Although Robert and I have drifted apart, he was a good friend, and there when I needed him. A truly sad moment for us all.

Gentle, compassionate, giving, loyal, inspiring, honorable, enriching, are just a few words that can be used to describe Rob. The years that we spent as college roommates were the best years of my life. A lot had to do with being blessed with such a great friend. Back then he was very shy. He was a hard person to get to know. Once I got to know him, I knew that I would treasure our friendship forever. He was not only brilliant, but he was the funniest person that I had ever met. I never laughed so much with one person. His humor was quick, smart, and fun loving. He was the type of person you just loved being around. No matter what was going on in your life, Rob had a way of lifting your spirits in a short period of time.
After being married and having kids, I would get together with Rob from time to time, but not nearly as much as I would have liked to. I feel so sad and so empty inside knowing that I lost such a great friend. Rob had a gift of touching and uplifting so many different people, on so many levels, and in so many different ways. I was truly fortunate and blessed to have him as a friend. He was such an easy person to love.
My heart and prayers go out to his family and all of the people that loved him so very much.

Today I was saddened and shocked to hear that one of my very best friends, and former college-and after- roomates has left us to move on to greener pastures. Robert was one of the funniest people I ever came to know. A warm, kind and giving soul. And one of my very favorite all time people. To his family and friends and significant others, I can only tell you that Robert brought me endless hours of friendship, laughs and fellowship. He touched my life in wonderful ways, and I will truly miss his humor and company. NOT the greatest poker player, I ever knew....but he was certainly one of the very best people.
God bless you all, as you struggle to find peace at his early passing. I know I will have a very hard time getting used to the idea of a world without my good friend.

I am shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Rob. I have known him for many years at work as a kind and friendly individual. I offer my deepest sympathy to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed.

We in Rob's meditation group are profoundly saddened to hear of Rob's sudden passing. My condolences to the family at such a painful and difficult time. Rob was wise, spiritual, generous and a constant presence at our weekly Wednesday evening gatherings.

It was very sad to hear of Bob's passing. Having Bob as a co-worker I found him to be a gentle, and kind person, always willing to help. His quiet nature made you feel safe and comfortable around him. He will be greatly missed.

It was shocking to hear the news this morning that Rob passed away during the night. I'm very sorry and I offer my condolences to his family and friends. I've known him at work for over 20 years, and it's hard to believe he is gone.
