Welcome to the memorial page for

Conor Robert Bowen

May 13, 2015 ~ October 25, 2016 (age 1) 1 Years Old

Conor Robert Bowen, cherished son of David and Erin Bowen, of Milford passed away on October 25, 2016 at the tender age of 17 months. He was born on May 13, 2015 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Conor was loved by everyone who met him. He was always smiling and blowing kisses. He had the most contagious laugh and gave the best hugs. His greatest joy was playing with his sister Tessa, who he would happily allow to boss him around. They did everything together, never spending a moment apart. They enjoyed library time together, trips to the park, the grocery store, to My Gym and to the beach. In addition to spending time with his many beloved family members, he loved calling all of those family members on FaceTime.  He attended Tutor Time in Milford where he charmed all of the teachers, who provided him with the most nurturing care.  With his winning smile and outgoing nature, he had many friends with whom he shared special memories. He was blessed to be a member of two faith communities, at St. Mary’s Church in Milford and First United Church of Christ of Milford, where he was baby Jesus in the Christmas Pageant. Conor leaves behind his beloved sister and best friend, Tessa Grace Bowen, his maternal grandparents, Annemarie and Lawrence Dowling of Kinnelon, NJ, paternal great grandfather,  Herbert Simmons of Hanover, MA, aunts and uncles, Max Bowen, Tara Shamroth, Eileen Shamroth and Sean and Danielle Kirrane and adoring cousins Ashley & Emily. He also leaves behind many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Conor was greeted in Heaven by his paternal grandmother, Deborah Bowen. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Church of Milford. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.
